Softgoods Experiments

Originally conceived as a simple softgoods exercise to practice sewing, like any good rabbit hole this project grew to encompass much more, becoming a “concept-car” of sorts for ideas. I used these bags to explore ideas in pattern-making, feature integration, hardware, technical fabrics, and sewing techniques. All bags shown were designed, patterned, and sewn by me.

Features include easy access external drop pockets with magnetic Fidlock closures, COBRA Buckle shoulder strap with stowable cross strap, exterior U-Lock holder, internal zippable pockets, and a paracord compression system for oversized items.
